What is Photoshop?

Photoshop is software which software use for photo editing. We can edit any photo easily by Photoshop.

The software allows users to manipulate, crop, resize, and correct color on digital photos. This software is particularly popular among professional photographers.

I have used “Adobe Photoshop CS” upgrade version and “Adobe Photoshop version 8”. Photoshop CS 1, 2,3,4,5, and 6 these are very upgrade version of Adobe Photoshop. If you know only Photoshop 10 version, others all upgrade versions are not fact to use.

Some new features and tools are added in the latest versions (CS 1-6).  I am explained maximum new features in this site. 

However, we can follow any version of Adobe Photoshop. We can easily collect/download “Adobe Photoshop” from Internet by Google searched.

How to start?

At first, install Adobe Photoshop.

-Then click to Start button.

-Click all programs and click to Adobe Photoshop.

Photoshop Window.

At first, need to introduce with Photoshop Window.

1.	Title Bar:	Preview name of program in Title Bar.	9.	Tool Box:	It’s a long tool box include many essential tool.
2.	Menu Bar:	Preview all menu bars.	10.	Pallet:	Preview option of any editing.
3.	Option Toolbar:	Preview toolbox option to modify any settings.	11.	Size Corner:	To stretch corner by dragging.
4.	Image Window:	Preview image which image will edit.	12.	Status Bar:	Preview value of zoom, preview box, preview menu etc. in Status Bar.
5.	Image Window Title Bar:	Preview image name in Image Window Title Bar.	13.	Tool Tip:	Preview name of tools and shortcut of keyboard in Tool tip.
6.	Minimize Button:	To go to Taskbar as minimize.	14.	Preview Menu:	Preview a option list by clicking preview menu.
7.	Maximize Button:	To go to Taskbar as maximize.	15.	Preview Box:	Preview documents size.
8.	Close Button:	To shutdown program.	16.	Value of Zoom:	Preview of zoom value with percentage.

New File:

At first, we need to create new file for working.

To create new file:-

-Click file menu.

-Then click new.

-Alternatively, you can use shortcut key (Ctrl + N).

-Select any paper size from “Preset” option.

-Alternatively, input your desired value in width, height and resolution.

-Select anyone from “Background Contents” drop-down menu.

-Click to OK.

File Open:

If we change/modify/edit/print any Photoshop file or any photo/picture/image, at first we need to open the file.

How to open:

-At first opens the Adobe Photoshop.

-Then click file menu.

-Select desired file.

-Click Open.

-Or we can use as shortcut key (Ctrl + O).

-Find out your desired file ‍and selects it.

-Then click open.

File Save:

File save is essential process when the Photoshop file/picture editing will be completed. We save Photoshop file in different formats.

How to save:

-Click file menu.

-Then click save

-Or we can use as shortcut key (Ctrl + S).

-Write ‍a suitable name.

-Select file destination.

-Select anyone from PSD, JPEG, BMP, GIF, EPS, PCX, PDF, PNG, TARGA, and TIFF in Format option.

-Click to save.

-Type 1-12 to the Quality box.

-Then click OK.

Note:

PSD (Adobe Photoshop Document) format for Photoshop file saving.

Jpeg (Joint Photographic Experts Group) format for Photoshop file save as picture.

BMP (Bitmap) format for Photoshop file save as high quality picture.

GIF (Graphical Interchange Format) format for Photoshop file save as animated picture.

EPS (Encapsulated PostScript) format to save as Illustrator file.

PDF (Portable Document Format) format to save as Adobe reader file, Acrobat reader and Illustrator file.

TARGA format to save as Illustrator file, Photoshop, Adobe Premiere etc.

TIFF (Tagged Image File Format) format to save as Illustrator file, Photoshop file, Corel draw and Paint software file.

PNG (Portable Network Graphic) format to save as Adobe Firework file, Illustrator file, Photoshop file and Paint software file.

PCX format to save as Illustrator file, Photoshop file, Fax, and Scanning applications.
